To be successful in an Online Interactive Course at Granite State College, you will need to consider your learning habits, work patterns and comfort zone. As you begin to explore this new adventure, it will help to consider the following questions. Please feel free to take this “Comfort Zone” test as one way to help you think about taking an OIC. However, it should not be the only way of determining your potential success.

  MEDIUM: I could take it at a Regional Center, at a later date, or I could substitute a different course.
  LOW: I could take it anytime. I'm taking it for fun or personal interest.

2. Feeling that I am part of a traditional classroom course is

  Have it completed ahead of time.
  Need reminders to get it done on time.

15 to 19 points: If you scored in this range, online courses at GSC will likely work well for you. If you have any questions or concerns, you may want to discuss those with a GSC advisor.
14 or less points: If your total score is 14 or fewer points, you may want to meet with a GSC advisor to discuss whether an online course is suitable for you.
