| Susan Dame has
been a dedicated faculty member teaching for Granite State College since 1986 in
the areas of early childhood and special education, Her professional work has been
in early intervention, both in early childhood, agency, and public school primary
through secondary classroom settings. Susan earned a B.S. in Elementary Education
and Special Education in 1975 and a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Special Education in
1982, both from Rhode Island College. In addition to her current special education
position at Lebanon High School and teaching courses for Granite State College,
Susan serves as faculty mentor for Granite State College students completing independent
learning contracts and integrative learning experiences and she consults to local
school districts.
Susan lives in Enfield with her husband of 36 years, Norm and their lab, Abby. Their
"hobby" is renovating their 15 room farmhouse! Susan and Norm have two
sons. Jonathan is a personal trainer and mechanic working with race car teams. He
and his wife, Jenn, live in Vermont. Bryan, their oldest, lives in Lincolnville,
Maine with his wife, Natasha and is the executive chef at the Inn at Ocean's Edge.
