Kim Gibson has 10 years of Human Resource experience in industries from hospitality management to high tech manufacturing and staffing. She has concentrated in the employee relations field throughout those years, with emphasis in HR law. Kim has been a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the Seacoast Human Resource Association (SHRA) since 1999. Kim holds credentials for both CHRE (Certified Human Resource Executive in Hospitality) and SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources, SHRM distinction).
Kim is excited to be an integral part of the learning process for undergraduates at Granite State College. She feels it is critical for human resource professionals, as well as managers as a whole, to be able to dissect an issue from many different angles in order to arrive at a well balanced solution. This is evident in her Law course where students are expected to experience a shift in their thought process when dissecting HR law related problems.
Kim holds a BA in Psychology
from UNH and a MS in Human Resource Management from Rivier
College.
