About Our Faculty

Gail Mills, MS

Over the past year, Gail has worked on educating, recruiting and developing community groups to address a major issue affecting the town of Nottingham. As a change agent, she has worked with National and local organizations to bring people together to educate and to garner support from town residents on legislation impacting the future of the town. She is on the Advisory Committee of the Citizens of Barnstead for a Living Democracy and a member of the Nottingham Budget Committee.

Gail has spent many years in community development and as an Executive Director of nonprofit and government agencies. She has also worked as a consultant to a number of small businesses, nonprofit, and community organizations. Gail has taught various on-line and face-to-face management courses at Granite State College for over fifteen years, and has also taught at several other colleges.

She holds a BA in English/Journalism from the University of New Hampshire in Durham and a MS in Management from Antioch New England Graduate School.

“I enjoy teaching on-line,” Ms. Mills said. “It gives me an opportunity to meet learners from all around the state and, in some cases, from out of state. This diversity brings broad perspectives on the topic being studied.”
