About Our Faculty

Marilyn is a faculty advisor for the OEP-PBTC program working with individuals in the Plymouth and Lakes Region who are pursuing certification in special education. She taught courses in special education at Keane College in NJ and at Lesley College in Cambridge, MA, and was active for 25 years with a community residence program in MA for adults with developmental disabilities.

Marilyn earned a BA degree in psychology from Douglass College and a Doctorate in Special Education from Rutgers University. She holds NH teacher certification in general special education.

Having taught online for the past few years, Marilyn recognizes the challenges and freedoms inherent in this powerful educational technology and looks forward to meeting her students in this exciting, interactive environment.

She loves the glory of the White Mountains, and enjoys sharing their beauty with anyone who is willing to join her.
