| Lisa Strout,
MS, is an educational consultant specializing in early childhood. Her work focuses
on infant and toddler development, as well as quality initiatives. She is currently
working with the New Hampshire Association for the Education of Young Children as
the Executive Director and Granite State College as the Early Childhood Education
Grant Coordinator. Lisa also holds her NHECPD Credentials in Trainer, Mentor, and
Faculty Level 3 & Director Level 3. In addition, she holds her NH Certification
in Early Elementary Education.
Lisa has been a faculty member
at Granite State College since April, 2006. She teaches EDU 604: Enhancing Supervision
through Mentoring and EDU 605: Program Administration for Early Childhood and Non-Profit
Administration.
Lisa is an active member of
the New Hampshire Association for the Education of Young Children, serving as Co-Chair
of the Administrator's Conference and Chairman of the Newsletter Committee; the
Upper Valley Child Care Association, the NH Infant and Toddler Taskforce, and the
Child Care Advisory Council. She also volunteers with the Child Development Bureau
during events throughout the year.
Prior to work as an educational
consultant, Lisa has worked in multiple roles in the early childhood community,
ranging in duties from Substitute Teacher to Cook to Director.
Lisa received her BS from Keene
State College in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. She earned
her MS from Wheelock College in Care and Education in Early Childhood Settings.
She has been working in the field for over 20 years.
